North Alabama AHEC is once again partnering with the
NAO National Training Center and Pri-Med Institute to recruit participants for the Safe and Effective Pain Care course.  We are tasked with recruiting 30 participants, as part of our grant requirements.  The updated training is now live and open to all members of healthcare teams who have direct patient care (including healthcare professions students), available through October 31, 2026.

This course is a FREE, four-hour, on-demand
REMS–compliant CME/CE training series on opioid prescribing and pain management in primary care.

The Pri-Med Institute course helps clinicians deliver safer, more informed pain management through
practical tools and updated best practices. 
This accredited program will provide: 
4 AMA PRA credits,
4 AANP contact hours,
and 3 AANP Pharmacology hours. 

Perfect for busy providers: 4 hours, virtual, and entirely self-paced.
